Messages By rjd_jrU.S. air strike kills six in Iraq
for the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's killed as well as thousands of coalition forces, not to mention coalition and U.S. forces that continue to face harms way day in and day out with no end in sight. All thanks to arrogant and ignorant politicians that gave so little thought and planning to this whole mess. This Iraq war is hell indeed, a living, breathing hell that, entering its sixth year, has no end in sight.
If by Kurara, as in, Kurara Chibana miss universe runner up two years ago, I don't think it's her though I could be wrong. It looks like her but there's no mention of it in her blog I don't think.
I was more referring to the unfortunate fact that I feel the U.S. government has lost much moral authority to criticize the Chinese actions in Tibet and overall because of their huge blunder in Iraq.
is probably wishing now for a japanese politician to visit yasukuni or say something "offensive" about world war 2. Too bad they don't have anything now to divert the attention away from their abuses for the world to see. Anyone out there still think that japan is a resurging right wing militaristic threat? The world can see who the real threat is. FREE TIBET
30 years old is a bit much to be walking around on a catwalk.
Yet again the ugly issue of Iraq raises its spectre again even in this Tibet issue, that invasion has truly ruined many things. Regardless, FREE TIBET
one wonders about the quality of many of these foreign nurses, no offense. Good intentions are just that.
Ah, I see fireant.
Exactly what laws "prevented" this young boy from successfully receiving multi organ transplant in Japan? I'm simply curious, that is all. It's not the first time a young person from another country (besides japan) went to the U.S. to have delicate and difficult surgery performed. Is it not a fact that the U.S. is filled with some of the best surgeons in the world, performing some of the most complex and dangerous surgical procedures around? If so, why not send your children or loved one to the best of the best? Not every country is the world has surgeons that can perform incredibly complex surgery with success. This isn't like drawing blood, this is extreme surgery.
After five years of blood spilled by both coalition forces and the Iraqi's, all we have to show for it is a highly unstable and very dangerous country. A country where many of its citizens still do not have the most basic of needs met. I used to support this invasion and war, blindly defending it to those around me who were against the war. Yet the evidence keeps mounting that this war was based on false assumptions and rush to judgement. Not only that, but the bush administration royally screwed the post occupation. Bush personally treated items of extreme importance with such utter disregard and contempt that the ensuing insurgency can be directly laid at his feet. And then people have the audacity to crow about the "surge" when people like General Shinseki had been proposing troops in excess of 200,000 to stabilize post war Iraq. Rumsfeld and bush and company have blood on their hands for their hubris. That is why in its sixth year there is absolutely no end in sight. I cannot deny the fact that this was a monumentally atrocious decision, more so because post occupation was handled disastrously.
Ordinarily I don't condone these types of random and hateful incidents, but in this case all I can say it is, how do the Chinese government and some of its citizens feel now to be on the receiving end of hatred and animosity from others? They have sure dished it out to Japan and its citizens all these years (amongst others), so now they get a taste of their own medicine.
Nice to at least see some police force in this world of ours that takes terrorism seriously enough to conduct meaningful drills. Where I live they could care less about conducting any form of drills or training to combat terrorism or natural disasters. Basically, if something were to happen where I live we're screwed. So nice to see these guys taking the initiative and being proactive instead of sitting behind a computer screen and casting judgement.
what do people expect to hear bush say, that he thought it was a wrong decision to go to war in iraq? Come on now.
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=29763 "A recent National Geographic survey found that only one in seven Americans aged between 18 and 24 could find Iraq or Iran on a map. While 58 percent knew about Afghanistan, only 17 percent could find it on a world map. When asked to find 10 specific states on a map of the U.S., 89 percent could locate California and Texas, but only 51 percent could find New York. On a world map, Americans could only find seven of 16 countries in the quiz. Eleven percent couldn't even find the U.S. on the map, and 29 percent couldn't find the Pacific Ocean." Funny, the ignorance of American youth (as a non japanese example here) hasn't stopped America from being a world leader in diplomatics and an expert at waging unnecessary wars. My bet stands, and geography and location of countries means very little. I bet many politicians the world over couldn't locate cities in their own country let alone foreign countries. No big deal.
Again, I find it interesting that the Chicomms and their loyal supporters consider extreme military force and suppression to be justifiable in this case in order to control the "looting terrorists." Because where were these same Chicomms and their supporters when it came to innocent japanese civilians beaten and their stores/property being destroyed a few years ago? FREE TIBET.
Really, I find these sort of geography issues to be absolutely meaningless. I bet you over 3/4 of the students in my state can't locate the U.S. on a map, let alone Iraq. Hell I am willing to bet my farm that 3/4 of the WORLD population don't know where Iraq is on a map. As fireant alludes to, it ain't like geography is taught as a hot topic in school. What matters is Japanese students continue to excel in science and mathematics. So really, in the long run being able to locate Iraq or anywhere else on the map means absolutely nothing.
no swimsuits
In other pictures of her at the beach her skin shade is ghostly pale and white. Her skin looks whiter than many caucasians I know, pale nordic style, it is very freaky.
That is just pure hypocrisy when it comes to the China defenders here. They complain all the time about the phantom and non existent Japanese militaristic threat and right wingers, yet they defend the actual real time actions of the Chinese military aggression. The China defenders are saying it is the right of Chinese authorities to "defend" their land and whatnot. Really? Well where were these Chinese authorities to protect the Japanese businesses that were being destroyed and citizens being assaulted a few years ago in China, supposedly an angry reaction to something some japanese politician said? I am afraid the Chicomms and their supporters have infiltrated this website. To them China can do no wrong. FREE TIBET
Regardless of all the "instructions" given to not insult or harass visiting foreign athletes, the odds of chinese fans racially harrassing and insulting and totally disrespecting (to the approval of many JT posters here) the japanese athletes is 300 million to one in FAVOR of them doing it. So kudos for japanese officials for having the courage to abide by the true olympic spirit though it won't be shown to them in return.
and unnecessary but that's just me. A dress would have been fine, we already know she looks good.
I don't understand the inconsistency of the posters here. At any rate, FREE TIBET!
Heck the casualty rate of Iraqis the past five years from this 'war' has rivaled the numbers Saddam brutally killed. Even today many Iraqis lack the basic resources necessary. After five long years there still isn't any guarantee of stability or peace. That does not count as better off in my book.
Mr. O'Brien, thank you for your eloquent and exceptionally astute observation. Quite a few people here could stand to learn from your viewpoints. Many nations engage in the killing of animals that others would find offensive. Kudos to Mr. O'Brien!
Nice to see him further his success in Japan. He's the original Tae Bo type exercise guru. His philosophy is also great. Cool!
