TOKYO — Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp has revised down its estimated group operating profit for the full year to March to 1,260 billion yen from 1,320 billion yen. Estimated net profit was also revised down, to 505 billion yen from 530 billion yen.
The downward revisions reflect a special loss to be booked on subsidiary NTT Data Corp and a decline in the expected gain from the return of the proxy portion of public pension assets to the government.
