Man found strangled in Tokyo apartment

TOKYO — Police on Tuesday said a man found dead in his apartment in Nerima Ward on Monday had been strangled. Yusho Furutani, 24, was found dead by his boss, 36, in his apartment around 7 p.m. on Monday after he didn't show up for work that day.

According to police investigations, the victim seems to have been strangled from behind with some soft clothing. The door to his apartment was unlocked and his wallet and money were gone. A neighbor told police he heard some noises from the apartment around 10 p.m. on Sunday. The victim was last seen at a convenience store around 3 p.m. the same day. His bicycle was found on the street about 300 meters away from his apartment, and police believe the suspect possibly used it to leave the apartment.

Wow, his boss was so worried that he went looking for him and found him dead. I hope we dont read tomorrow that his boss confesses to strangling him.

This thief and murderer couldn't have 'walked' 300 meters but needed a bicycle? Better start looking in an old folks' home for the culprit.

I guess this guy must have been in a company dorm for his boss to come by - still impressive that he did.
